FRENCH WAR AIMS. SUMMARISED BY M. PICHON. LEAGUE OF NATIONF AFTER VICTORY. Received Jan. 13, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Jan. 12. M. Pichon (Foreign Minister) has summed up the French war aims as follows: First, respect for treaties; second, territorial settlement on the basis of nationai rights; third, limitation of armaments. Tfo added that a league of nations can only be established after victory. France wants the restoration of Alsace and Lorraine wtihout any pledge.
