SPORTING.
Mr. T. H. Lowry. the owner of Desert Gold, has decided to send the mare to Australia to compete in weight-for-age races at Caul-field, Flemington, and Kandwick. The net profits, if any, will lie devoted to patriotic purposes in New Zealand.
