The hostile artillery was active south-westward of Cambrai, and also active along tile front southward from Lens to Armentieres and in 1 the neighborhood of Zonnebeke. Our aeroplanes last night dropped a few bombs on Carvin, north-east of Lens. Despite bad weather we advanced our line slightly on tile right, south of Lens, j THE CAMBRAI INQUIRY. I OFFICERS RETIRED. The enemy have lost twenty-three aeroplanes since January 1.
