RETURN OF TARANAKI SOLDIERS. Five Taranaki soldiers who have recent],y returned from the front, readied Xe\v Plymouth by last nigtlit's mail train. All the men had greatly 'benefited by the return voyage, and only two of them have to report at the hospital, these being both out-patients. The men were met by the deputy-mayor (Mr. W. A. Collis) and the deputy-chairman of the Patriotic Committee (Mr. Chancy). Fallowing are the names of the returned men: Private S. Hodges, left with the 7th reinforcements, has been returned sick, owl is on leave.

Private K. C. King, loft with the 11th Reinforcements, wa s gassed, and is on ICfIVP

Private E. I.eary, left with the 4th Reinforcements and was invalided sick. He returned witli the flt.li Reinforcements and was wounded at the Somme in September of 1010. He lias spent a long time in hospital in England, and will be an out-patient of the local hospital Private Johnston, left witli the 10th .Reinforcements, Ims been returned disabled, and is on leave.

Private d. V. Oliver, left with the 14th Heinfoi cements, lifts returned sick, and «'ill be an out-patient of the Xew Plymouth hospital,

In addition to the above men, Private.? Cliadwick and STsley, of Hawera. and Privates G. Beaston and H. McWilliam, of Kitham, were axpec-ted to reach home by the same train.
