The Daily Chronicle says it ia recognised in Government circles that the peace proposals at Brest Utovsk constitute a new fact of which official cognisance must be taken. Even with Count Czevnin's limitations Germany's acceptance of the Russian formulae indicates a new temper. A concrete proposal lias taken the place of loose talk, and will receive the serious c-.msideritioii of the Allies. Britain, Funce,- America and Italy are already exchanging views. It has not been decided yet whether Mr. Lloyd George will visit M. Clemencoau. Meanwhile the British Government is preparing for a prolonged war. HUNGARIAN'S OPPOSE SEPARATE PEACE. ' .
