HUN VANDALISM. WILFUL BOMBING OK ART TREASURES. London, Jan. 1. Atl Tt.alia.ii semi-official message stales that in the air raids on Padua the enemy was deliberately seeking to wreck the precious art treasures of religious art. Official.—A cable from Rome states that all tillable land has been requisitioned and will be distributed among the people. The Government will defray the cost of cultivation, using the produce for war purport's. The civil population has been mobilised for war industries. The continued concentration of Aus-tro-Gormans, and the massing of artillery behind the Brenta and Piave presages a great offensive.
