ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
MAORI 'KILLED WHILE CYCLING. Marton, Dec. 28. An elderly Maori man, named Poneket died at Pabnerston Hospital last ntepi as the result of a motor-cycle with *ldecar running over a bank on Mt. Stewart, near Sand on. He sustained a fractured skull. The accident occurred through the cyclist trying to avoid a collision with another motor-cyclist.
