tenders accepted for new BUILDING. ASSEMBLY HALL TO AWAIT FOftDS. A special meeting of the Board 6f Governors of the New Plymouth High Schools wag held at the board's offioe last night, to reccive«-tenders for the Auction of new buildings for the boys' school. Separate tenders \vere invited for tins class-rooms aiid for an assembly bap, and that of Messrs Boon Bros, of Near Plymouth, of £7198 for the class rooms was accepted. The tender for the Assembly hall*— £2423—was also ocmQrted, but it is not proposed to go on with tfcfct work until the money required is actable. A commencement with the contract for the cjass-rooms will be made immediately. Other tender# received were from Messrs Julian (Auckland), £7647 and £2200; Hutchison (Auckland), £7980 and £2375; and Benqer (Wellington), £10,328 and £2260.-
