STATKMKNT liV Till; PRIiMIER. A MUCH BRIGHTER OUTLOOK By Teiegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Prime Minister says the outlook for the frozen meat export trade during the season just commencing is much brighter, the latent information regarding' -shipping indicating that, provided the ships which liuve been arranged for come along to time, the balance of the season's meat in store will be shipped by the end of January. It is not considered at present necessary to impose any special restrictions upon the slaughter of stock for freezing, but, at the same time, it is desirable that stock owners and all concerned should use every endeavor to avoid putting through the works unfinished animals, so that not only could storage space be utilised to the best advantage, but delivery to the Imperial Government of a un%foi|nly good quality product, according to ol&ia. » would be ensured.
