RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION.
MATATA TO TANEATUA. By Telegraph.—(Press Association. Opotiki, Last Night. The Minister of Public Works has in* formed the Opotiki County Council that the railway from Matata to Taneatua has been surveyed, and the work will proceed as rapidly as funds and labor Will permit. The route from Taneatua to Opotiki has been approximately decided upon, and his intentions were to have the work completed by returned soldiers after the war. .
