Ho is addressing crowded political gatherings favoring the election of a conscriptionist Government. Canada's decision on Monday is expected to powerfully influence the Australian referendum. - ARREST OF A SPY. Received December 14, 5.5 p.m. Ottawa, Dec. 13. A spy was arrested aboard the American relief ship on arrival at Halifax. The man was passing under the alias of Hcnrv French, his real name being believed to be Louis Vosburg. Maps of Halifax, and important papers were found in his possession.
