COSSACKS AND BOLSHEVIKS.
CONTRADICTORY,, REPORTS. Times Service. Received Dec. 13, 1 a.m. Petrograd, Dec. 12. It is reported that the Cossacks defeated the Bolsheviks at Moholieff. The report is unconfirmed. A Bielagornd message says that General Korniloff's Cossacks have been defeated. General Kaledin is sending reinforcements to General Korniloff. BOLSHEVIKS' APPEAL TO COSSACKS. TO TURN ON THEIR GENERALS. Received Dee. 12, 11.5 p.m. Petrograd, Dec. 12. A Bolshevik appeal, addressed to the Cossacks, says: "It depends upon you whether the. blood of your brethren will be shed. Wo hold out our hands to yoi;. and urge yon to unite with all the people against their declared enemies, Kaledin, Korniloff, Dutoff, and Karavloff." PROTECTING VLADIVOSTOCK. JAPANESE TROOPS IN OCCUPATION. Received Dec. 13, 1.55 a.m. New York. Dec. 12. The New York Times' Washington correspondent learns authoritatively that Japanese troops have occupied Vladivostok.
