On Saturday "Your Own" made an inspection of tin; premiers in JSroadwav lent bv Dr. l'agot to the la.!!.'.- for resting purposes whilst in town. Mr*. Abraham was in charge, and looked quite happy nnrsirtpf the child of some tired mother, who found walking Broadway anything but a pleasure during the long sunshine. are also facilities for feeding 'babies, thus removing much anxiety from the mothers. A glance through the membersnip shows, that it is a growing one and representative of the district. The eommitce have been fortunate in receiving donations of tables. chairs, etc., and a li<t of those contributing in.this directum will be published later on. Mrs. Abraham states that, the rooms will be open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The Ladies' Patriotic Committee did very good business on Saturday, when the rooms were controlled by Mrs. TT. Asiiton and Miss liohson. The mart takings were CO -Is, and lea-rooms £fi I',ls—-total. .CIS 4s. Mrs. S. <l. Riminglon won the cake compelitioh. and Mrs. .[. Ttohson won the .'ilb box of tea.
