THE GERMAN COLONIES. SOME WILD STATEMENTS. MiR. MASSEY ANSWERED. Received Dec. 9, 5 5 p.m. Amsterdam, Dec. 8, The Frankfurter Zcitung. discussing (he future of the German colonies, says that the exclusion of Germany from Africa is part of the peace programme, but England will soon be compelled to make a thorough revision of her peace aims. The same applies to the statements of the New Zealand Prime Minister about the South Sea colonies. It will not be the special wishes of New Zealand, but the general war situation in Europe, that will determine the whole colonial future, RESTORING GERMAN TRADE. Amsterdam, Dec. 7. The Cologne Gazette states that a great financial syndicate is being formed in Hamburg to restore German overseas trade after the war. The syndicate has a capital of 100 million marks COUNT LUXBURG'S RETURN. Received Dec. 9, 5.5 p.m. Copenhagen, Dec. 8. Count Luxburg has arrived en route to Germany.
