ENEMY CLEARED OUT. CAPTURES FOR NOVEMBER. Aus. and J?,Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter. Received Dec. 5, 1.45 a.m. London, Dec. 4. East Africa official: General Van deP Venter on December 1 reported a reeonnuisance wliiph definitely shows that German East Africa is completely cleared of the enemy, thug the whole of the. last Gorman overseas possession has pawed into our hands and those of the Belgian*. Small German regiments have taken refuge in Portuguese territory, and measures have been taken to deal therewith. The captures for November were 1115 Germans and 3382 native fighters. We captured; or (lie enemy destroyed, fl .guns, 73 machine-guns and several tliousands of rifles.
