METEOROLOGICAL REPORT. FOR MONTH OF NOVEMBER. Tlie following are the records taken at the Pukekura Park Meteorological Station, (Altitude NJOft), by Mr. W. W. Smith, observer:— Excepting the lowering of the temperatures on the 21st and 22nd due to 'the chilly S.E. jjale blowing on those plates tha .nonth was uniformly mild and seasonable. Though the rainfall [was -Jig lightest for the corresponding [month for nine years the month was comparatively free from strong or dryling wind's. The cloud displays, which generally occurred after noon, were very fine, and comprised nearly all the forms that occur at heights ranging from 10,000 to 30,000"" feet. The average sunshine per day gave nearly eight hours, which is high for the generally humid climate of Taranaki. There was no high maximum temperature. The minimum mean gave 52.8, which is a high average for November. The nights were generally sultry, with days of ideal weather. Following are the records for the month: Maximum temperature, 69deg. on the .oth. 75deg. on 11th. Minimum temperature, 44deg. on 22nd, OOdeg. on 11th. Maximum -wet-bulb, 55deg. on 22nd, OOdeg. on Ist, 2nd, and 28th. Minimum wet-bulb, 43dea. on 22nd, Sfi>? on Ist, 2nd, aiifi 29th. Snlar radiator. llOdeg.
