STRATFORD A. & P. SHOW.

The convenience of visitors to the show on Wednesday and Thursday has had every consideration by the committee. New luncheon rooms have been built and it is anticipated that ample accommodation will be available without undue waiting. The rest tent which proved so convenient last year, under the control of tho Salvation Army, will be similarly conducted this year. Hot wmter, for those who intend pi'enicing under the trees, will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as usual free. Any children who may lose their parents or guardians should bo taken at once to the rest tent and parents who miss their children should apply there first. The grounds have never looked so well and visitors will snivly enjoy the ontdng. Train arrangements will be most convenient. From Tahora the Public Works Dept. will convey passengers at 7 a.m. to connect with a train leaving Whahgamomona at S a.m. Trains from north and south will suit and the timetable is notified by posters. Motor car* will be admitted at the bottom iab and not at the front gate as previously stated. Tb- one day bntterfat competition initiated by the Stratford A. and P. Association was concluded on Friday, but the results will not be declared until 0 a.m. on Wednesday, the first day of the show. The ten cows which have secured highest places must be on -the ground Wednesday morning. The owners of the first ten cows are as follows: E. O'Sullivan, Cardiff; W. H. Gray, Midhirst; E. Bennett, Cardiff; A. H. Halcombe, Urenui; (',. Hobbs, Inglewood; C. Symonds. Midhirst; S. Gadsby, Stratford; A. H. Halcombe, Urenui; H. Purdie, Waitara; J. P. Heggie, Sole Rd., Ngaere.
