T lie report, of the committee appoint* dl in 1313 to advise the Board of Trade on the work of the commercial intelligence branch states that it has 'been decided to appoint three trade commissioners in Canada, two each in Australia, i South Atricft, and Tnditi, one eflch in -New Zealand, the Straits Settlements, and We t Indies. Other posts will bo created as the opportunity arises. The scheme generally agrees with the lecommendations of the Dominions Rov&t Commission. The Treasury has sanctioned the immediate inception of the scheme. THE NEW AIR SUXISTER London, Nov. fit. In the House of Commons Mr. Bon«f Law announced that Mr. Llovd George has verbally offered Lord Northcliffe tho position of Air Minister. Lord Cowdray's resignation had been accepted, bu' a successor had not 'been appointed.
