WHITELEY SUNDAY SCHOOL.
J BAZAAR AND CONCERT. The bazaar arranged by the Whiteloy Church and Sunday school workers, to raise funds for the renovation of the school room, concluded last night. Very good business was done at the six nicely arranged stalls, and a very enjoyable concert of vocal and instrumental items supplemented by some effective tableaux, in which the Young Women's Bible Class assisted, was given at eight q'clbck ,to a very large attendance. The tableaux ''The Children's Prayer," en action song "The Girls ot .Japan," and a solo by Mrs H. L. Richards were each encored, as wag the national song and chorus "The Allies." (ireat praise is due to Mrs. Griffin and Miss Waterson and tlieir helpers for their elTorls in training the children for the various items.
At the bazaar held on Tlnirssday, despite the inclemency of the weather, the sum of C2O was realised, and, together with the concert money, the Sunday, school funds should greatly benefit.
