FALKENHAYN'S AIM.' RECAPTURE OF BAGDAD Received Nov. 15, .10.20 p.m. London, Nov. 15. General von Falkenhayn has established headquarters at Aleppo, and is advertising great preparations for the re-capture of Bagdad. The keynote of our operations to defeat this enterprise is that General Maude occupies a position enabling him to hit all round. He advanced up the Tigris and destroyed all the enemy Btorcs. The Turks had two divisions there. They have now fallen back for fifty miles, General Maude coming back to his original positions, there being no advantage in keeping the advanced positions. SUCCESSFUL ACTIONS. TURKS GO INLAND. Received Nov. 15, 10.25 n.m.
