SHIPPING FOR THE ALLIES.
AMERICA SECURES -100.000 TONS. * Received Nov. 15, 5,5 p.m. New York; Nov. 14. The Times' Washington correspondent reports that the United States lms completed arrangements -,vitli European neutrals and Japan for the transfer to tin- Allies of more than 400,000 tons of shipping which is now in United States ports. Neutrals will receive in return foodstuffs. Japan sold a large percentage of her tonnage for steel plates. Dutch ships will be used for transporting wheat from Australia to the United States.
