ELECTRAL BOUNDARIES.

OVERCOMING THE HOTEL DIFFICULTY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. | The North Island Electoral Boundaries Commission has practically finished its labors. The principal difficulty in the North Island was that three' licensed houses would, under the first proposals, have been shifted from "wet" to "dry" districts. The commissioners have been able to rearrange matters in such a way that these houses will still remain in "wet" districts. In Otago there are ten licensed houses which, under the first proposals, would go into "dry" districts, and the commissioners will have great difficulty in rearranging matters. Apart from the hotels difficulty, it is expected the commissioners will make slight changes in the proposed boundaries, and, perhaps, even in the names of electorates, but the latter changes are not considered of any great importance except in the way of sentiment.
