The weather was fine and sultry, whilst the crowd was probably a record for the last day, in the hopes of seeing Biplane out with Lanius, but the Derby winner split his hoof, and was withdrawn. The course was in good- order, and the racing exciting. Results: BATMAN STAKES (one mile). —Pali King 1, Modesto 2, Cosmos 3. Ten started. After two furlongs Modesto, Pah King and Prince Royal were leading. Modesto was first into the straight, but Pah King, on the rails, came through and won by a neck. Time, Imin 40.1ssfe. FLEMINGTON STAKES. (For two-year-olds; one mile). Mr. G. L. Stead's eh c ALMONER, bv Boniform—Cassock ...... 1. PEAT 2. CALIX 3. Twelve started. Verdun led into the course proper, but Almoner, wlio was already handy, put in a fast run, headed Verdun at the distance, and won by two lengths. Time, linin 14l;sec. V.R.C. HANDICAP (1} miles).—The Fortune Hunter 1, Ranger 2, Fantarie 3. Ten started. The order to the mile post was Seigneur. Almo, Sir Amyas, The Fortune Hunter, The Toll', Eastcourt, Fantarie. 'Almo and The Toff then drew up to the leaders. At the six furlongs post The Toll' was second, then came Almo, Sir Amyas, The Fortune Hunter and Ranger. The Toff was second into the straight, where The Fortune Hunter and Ranger came very fast, the former getting the verdict by a neck. Time, 3min 3sec. C. B. FISHER PLATE.

Seven started. Thana got away well after a few strides, and ledj)ast the mile post by three lengths from Cagou, Lanius, Broken Glass, Westeourt, G'etigne and Wallace Isinglass, maintaining the advantage to the distance, where Lanius was beaten, and Cetigne was looking a winner. Wallace Isinglass here put in a challenge and won in a great finish by a neck, Thana being twelve lengths away. Time, 2min 33scc.
VICTORIA STEEPLECHASE (about 3 miles 1 furlong).—Murrangong v l, Bricks 2, Highland Clan 3. Eight started. After the first round, Murrangong always held the lead. Coradjil was lying third last a mile from home, Then Boolegal lost his rider, Tinto pulled up and Sylvan Lass fell. Won by fifteen lengths. Miser was the only othar finisher. Time, Gmin Msec.
FINAL HANDICAP (1J miles). —Deneb 1, Rael Locin 2, Rosanna 3. There were twelve starters. Deneb led throughout. Seven furlongs from home Satin Bird was second, then came Rosanna, Perform, with Rael Locin near last. Rosanna' followed Deneb into the straight. At the distance Rael Locin, forging through, chdlenged Deneb, but failed to get up by half a length. Time, 2min Osec. AUCKLAND SPRING MEETING. VAGABOND WINS GREAT NORTHERN GUINEAS
By Telegraph,—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Racing Club's spring meeting was held in fine weather. The course was in excellent condition and there was a large attendance. All the events, with the exception of the classics, were keenly contested. E. Warner, rider of Caber Feagh in the Hurdles, was dislodged and sustained a broken collar-bone. The totalisator handled £41,404, against £33,263 for the corresponding day of last year, an increase of £Bl4l. Results:
