SUPREME COURT.
DUNEDIN SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—'Press Association. ■. Dunedin. Last Night. At the Supreme Court Williamson Currie, on a charge of forgery in connection with the alteration of a railway privilege ticket, was ordered to be imprisoned till the rising of the court. Alvert Victor Burrell was charged with placing an obstruction on the railway line. Without retiring, the jury found accused not guilty, on the ground of insanity at the time the action was committed. The judge committed accused to a mental hospital till the pleasuro of the Minister of Justice is known. Thomas Moffatt, 66 years of age, was convicted on a charge of indecency in assaulting a youth of 18. In view of accused's previous good character a fine of £23 was inflicted, accused to be detained for 3 months, or until the fine is paid. Andrew Tounsley, a stock dealer, was convicted for failure to keep proper accounts. Sentence was deferred. A WELLINGTON CASE. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Henry Alexander Lucas and Violet Lucas, a young married couple, charged with receiving stolen stationery, were acquitted.
