I Amsterdam, Nov. 5. Hindenburg and Ludendorff held a twodays conference at Berlin. The greatest secrecy was preserved, but it is stated that an agreement hag not yet been reached. Baron von Hertling has accepted Dr. von Helfferich's resignation. It is expected that Hertling will make a statement in the Reighstag on the 22nd regarding Germany's and Austria's readiness for peace. Count Czernin is coming to settle the terms of the statement.
