THEFT AND ALLEGED FORGERY. By Telegraph—<Pl-ess Association. Palmerston N., Nov. 2. David Carter pleaded guilty at the Magistrate's Court this morning to (he theft of a horse, harness and gig at Bunnythorpe on April 30 last, and wa,s committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on a further charge of alleged forgery at Napior on June 8, and was remanded to appear there on Tuesday next, COALMINERS ON STRIKE. AVellington, Nov. 2. The 'Prime Minister has been advi jp : that the Paparoa coal miners are out on strike. They demand more wages.
