There was a fair yarding, and prices were quite up to previous sales. Prices were—Fat cows £lO to £ll 6s, medium sorts £6 17s 6d to £7 15s, yearling heifers £5 10s to £6 17s 6d, yearling steers £5 10s to £6, 4 and 5-year-old bullocks £ls 2s 6d, backward springing heifers £7 to £8 12s 6d, Shorthorn bulls 13 to 15 guineas. Manaia— Two-year-old steers £l2 ss, springing heifers £9. empty cows £6 10s to £9 6s, cows and calves £lO 10s. woolly hoggets 36s 6d, ewes and lambs 365. Palmer.—Forward cows £9 5s to £lO 12s 6d, backward cows £7" 10s to £9 10s, Shorthorn bulls 15% guineas, yearling heifers £5 10s, steers £5 to £7, springing heifers £9 to £l2 12s 6d.
