Jamert Beck, formerly assistant Attorney General of the United States, in a speech, stated that unl«-. the Allies march into Berlin, Prussia will not realise she has been conquered. When the ' Allies win they must beware of magnanimity.

The Duke of Devonshire congratulated Beck on the evidence he gave as to American efforts to prepare to participate in the Allies' final success.
