KILLED ON RAILWAY. By Telegraph.—'Press 'Association. Hokitika, Laßt Night. A shocking fatality occurred at th» railway station shortly after the arrival of the evening train. During shunting operations, Lawrence Sullivan, a retired settler from South Westland, over 70 years of age, was found run over, the body being terribly mutilated. He was seen on the railway platform shortly be* fore, and it is inferred he Wet takfflg a short cut across the railway line to hii residence, near by. He leaves e widow, and grown-up family. He was a well* known grazier of Cook's River, and on# son is serving with the forces.
