IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT'S' OFFER.
By Wire.—Our Parliamentary Reporter, Wellington, Last Nighk Mr. Maesey stated in the House to-day that the Imperial Government toad made a definite offer for the output of cheese, and that he would submit #ie price to the meeting of cheese producers next Wednesday. The price is fljd per lb f.o.b. The price offered for the butter output is 157s per cwt.' It is understood these offers are regarded by the Government as final. They will have to be considered in the light of the grave difficulty in procuring shipping space unless the Imperial Government arrange* tb* shipping, '
