The fire headed them off and in the end one white man was burned to death, and subsequently two whites and two blacksdied from their injuries in hospital. RAID ON I.W.W. Perth. Oct. 2:5. The police simultaneously raided the ■quarters of the I.W.W. in the goldfields, country districts, and the metropolitan area.
