A DESTRUCTIVE BOMBARDMENT. CLEARING THE GROUND. Received Oct. 23, 10 p.m. Paris, Oct. 22. A French eastern communique states: Our artillery is continuing its destructive bombardment of enemy .positions in the regions of Doiran and the Vardar and north of Monastir. In the course of operations of clearing the ground in the vicinity of our new positions north-west of Pogradec we took prisoner a number of Austrians. y
