At the public meeting held recently in New Plymouth Mrs. Porter, Wellington, explained the aims and objects of the Women's National Reserve. ■ It was decided to start a branch in this district an<J a committee was appointed. Miss Bundle has, accepted the position of lion, secretary, and will be at the women's patriotic rooms, St. Aubyn. street, on Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 5 p.m. Subscriptions: .Members '2s, hon members 5s per year. , • It is proposed to have re-unions for soldiers' mothers, the first of which will, be held on Wednesday afternoon, November 7, at Kawaroa Park pavilion, which has been kindly lent for the occasion. All soldiers' mothers are invited as the guests of the committee of the Women's National Reserve.
