RETURNED SOLDIERS.

HOW THEY ARE DISPOSED. From Our Parliamentary Reporter. Wellington, Oct. 19. The Minister for Defence mentioned in the House to-day that 12,652 members of the Expeditionary Force had returned to Xew Zealand lip to the end of September. Of these men !)652rhad been discharged, 1254 had returned to duty, 5+ were dead, 494 were awaiting discharge, 100 were waiting to return to dutyi, 7SO were receiving hospital or sanatorium treatment, 290 were on sick leave, 21 were on special leave, 4 had deserted and six were in prison.
