ALLEGED AGAINST THE GOVERN - I MENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. | Wellington, Last Night. The Baptist Union executive passed 'ft resolution condemning the Government j action in instituting a censorship over [the Protestant Political Association's postal box while refraining from similar action in regard to Roman Catholic, and holding its failure to prosecute the Tablet for seditious articles warranted the charged of religious partisanship. In another resolution the Union said it entertained no doubt of Rev. Howard Elliott's sincerity, but dissociated itself I entirely from the charges and insinuations contained in the letters which caused so much public discussion, and i condemned the use and publication of [them in controversy Avith the Roman ' Catholic Church. | '
