The Press Bureau reports- that Sir Douglas Haig has replied to Mr. Lloyd George: "The British armies in France are proud to have won the congratulations of the War Cabinet and the generous congratulations conveyed by your message of appreciation. All ranks are determined to achieve victory, and are confident of doing so." VICTOR OF RAMADIE HONORED. Received Oct. 19, 10 p.m. London, Oct. 19. The Press Bureau reports that -MajorGeneral Brooking has been awarded the Cross of St. Michael and St. George, in recognition of his services in the capture of Ramadie. The Military Cross has been awarded to D. B. Murehison. of the New Zealand mounteds, and Military Medals to three New Zealanders.
