The French Admiralty reports as follows on the losses from submarines during the past two weeks: — This Last week Week Arrivals 855 903 6ailings ...... 849 811 Sunk over 1600 tons , 1 3 Sunk under 1000 tons ..., 1 18 Unsuccessfully attacked .. 5 8 NORWEGIAN SHIPS TORPEDOED. Received Oct. 1!>, 5.5 p.m. Chritiania, Oct. 18. The Norwegian steamers Barero and Hovde have been torpedoed. AMERICAN TORPEDOER DAMAGED. Washington, Oct. 18. A United States torpedo boat was submarined in European waters, but reached port. GERMAN WARSHIPS SUNK, Received Oct. 19, 5.5 p.m. Copenhagen, Oct. 18. Some German warships were sunk in the Sound. A number of bodies have been washed ashore.
