A NEW ZEALAND INVENTION. FAVORABLY REPORTED ON*. Washington, Oct. 18. The experts of the Invention Board have reported favorably on a New Zealand invention, a dry gas producing eartourretor, which is now being tested. It is applicable to aeroplanes, and it is hoped will materially increase the flying Tange. E. R. Godwild, the inventor, a New Zealander, and H. C. Armstrong, of Sydney, have offered the invention to the Government without remuneration. i ■ AMERICA AT ALLIES' CONFERENCE. Washington, Oct. 18. It is officially announced that the United States will be represented at the forthcoming Allied Conference in Paris.
