ACTION BY DEFENCE MINISTER. By Wire.—Our Parliamentary Reporter. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. H. Okey recently suggested to Sh James Allen, on behalf! of the Tariki 'Patriotic Society, that the two remaining soldier sons of Mr. Hamblyn should be given work at the base. Mr. Hamblyn has lost four sons at the front. Sir James Allen cabled to the military authorities, and has been advised in rtply that Private F. L. Hamblyn is at the base in France, and that Private P. Hamblyn is at the Walton Hospital, and will be returned to New Zealand.
