ALSACE-LORRAINE.
UNDER THE GERMAN JIEEL. London, Oct. 12, Correspondents report that the AlsaceLorraine prisons are crowded, mostly with those entertaining sentiments hostile to Germany. Mills, factories, and industries have been stripped of their contents and sent to Cermanv, notably Mulliouse, the population of 'which has been sent to various parts of Germany, being as badly dispersed as the Armenians in Turkey. Forty-thousand escaped to avoid service in the German army. THE REICHSTAG ADJOURNS.
Amsterdam, (Jet. 12. The Reichstag has adjourned to December 5. Tim VonvarrU declares that. Dr. Miehaelis, after the recent scenes in tiie Reichstag, is finally impossible as Chancellor.
