THE WAIRUNA'S CREW.
NOT LANDED IN CHILI. Wellington. Sept. 12. In reference to the recent official an-, nouncement in the press that a German' raider had been responsible for sinking the Wairuna, it is now officially stated by the naval authorities in England that there is no truth whatever in the rumor that the YVairuna's crew wan landed on any part of the American coast.
