London. Oct. 9. Italian official: After an intense bombardment, the enemy renewed his attacks on Costa Bella, but our massif artillery compelled him to withdraw. Local engagements took place at> Bainsizza. ON THE ISONZO. GREAT AUSTRIAN WAR COUNCIL. ITALIAN AERIAL SUPREMACY. Recehed Oct. 11, 12.50 a.m. Rome, Oct. 10. The Idea Nazionale's Berne correspondent reports that a great Austrian war council is being held on the Isonzo front. Prince Conrad and the army commanders are participating. Austrian losses include ten machine guns.

Italian aerial supremacy is causing much anxiety, the Austrian coast defences being helpless against the Italian attacks.
