PATRIOTIC WORK.
SOLDIERS' CLUB. ■Mrs. Burgess wishes to thank the following ladies who very kindly provided tea at the Soldiers'. Club during September to ->52 guests:—Mesdames J. White, J. Clarke. Bradbury. Hughes, Austin, Waiigh, Hooker, Evans, W. Jenkinson, Ewing, Simcock, Hodder, Misses Wilson,
Poulton, E. and J. Bennett, Arden, Capel, Sole, Hoaly; and Street. Ladies who are willing to fill in the vacancies on October tea are requested to ring up telephone No.- 90. Donations have been received from weekly subscribers, also 17a and 13s from the Bed Post.
The committee would he pleased to receive some up-to-date magazines and papers for tho reading room.
