ENTERTAINMENTS.
"A SQUARE DEAL" AT EVERYBODY'S, CARLYLE BLACKWELL AND JUNE ELVIDGE. Tlie powerful World-film, "A Square Deal," portraying the wayward impulses, the fine friendship, and the true self-sacrifice that often characterise your true 'Bohemians, whether artists, journalists, authors, actors, musicians or whatever they may be, will commence a local season at Everybody's matinee this afternoon. Of the four Bohemian friends in the play, the author first- "strikes oil," and a society butterfly, who- must marry money, entraps him for his wealth. The marriage proves a most unsuitable one, and his artist friend, who Relieve-! in a square deal, takes very strong measures to prove the unworthiness of the wife and free tiie author from his chains so that, lie may marry the girl journalist whom he Jiad loved all along. Such a plot necessarily provides some very telling scones; and when we state that the artist friend is Mr. Carlyle Blackxvell, and the heroine Miss June Elvidge, it) Will be seen that the two pivotal part 3 are in first-class hands. The supporting cast also is a distinctly strong one. Incidentally, some fine, fancy diving is done by Miss Muriel Ostriche, and there is a thrilling rescue from drowning of a smart-set beauty. "Trouble for Four," a mirth-provokiug comedy, and an excellent Gaumont Graphic series complete a very admirable programme.
