FOSTERING CONCILIATION. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. Sydney, Oct. 5. Mr. Fuller, Acting-iPremier, has announced that the Government will immediately amend the Industrial Arbitration Act, widely increasing the means of conciliation in future disputes. The Government has granted '£20,000 to relieve strike distress. A SEVERE FLOOD. Sydney, Oct. 3. The Darling River is flooded, inundating miles of country and isolating Curlwa and Wentworth.
