FIRE AT MUNITIONS FACTORY. A NUMBER OF WORKERS INJURED. Au3. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter. Received Oct. 3, 5.5 p.m. 'London, Oct. 2. The Press Bureau states that a serious ffre and explosion in a munitions factory occurred in the north of England. Much damage was caused to the factory, but no deaths have yet been reported. A number of workers were injured.
THE BEERFERRERS ACCIDENT EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST.' Received Oct. 3, 5.15 p.m. London, Oct. 2. At the inquest on the New Zeal&uiers killed in the railway accident at Bcerferrers, a verdict of accidental death was returned. The tenth victim has been identified as S. E. West. The evidence showed that the men were told that the first stop would be at Exeter, where they would be supplied with food. When the train pulled up at Beerferrers, a number jumped out, believing food was available.
