WAIWAKAIHO ANNUAL BULL FAIR.

This annual fair will be held at the Waiwakaiho saleyards on Thursday next, October 4. The catalogue, particulars of which are advertised in our auction columns, comprises 150 bulls of all breeds, from the leading breeders of North Ta> ranaki. An alteration has been made in the entry on account of Mr, D. F. Greenway, which should read as purebred 3-year-old maiden bulls, instead of 2-year. old, as previously stated. A big number of these bulls were bred by Mr. J. .) Chapman, of Tongaporutuj and his stock are particularly well known throughout the northern districts. Messrs 'Turnbulls' bulls are registered "in the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association, and pedigrees and full particulars will be supplied at the sale. The Holatein bulls arc a good lot, containing any amount of the best blood available in Taranaki. In yearling and two-year-old Jersey bulls, fanciers of this breed will have a great selection, and it looks as though they will bo hard to please if they are unable to satisfy themselves on this day The train arrangements from south to Smart Road should suit nicely, as the sale will commence just after the train arrives, and the sale should be over in time to allow them to catch the returning afternoon train.
