LADIES' HOCKEY.

CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT. Christchurch, Sept. 22. The ladies' hockey tournament which commenced here on Thursday; was concluded to-day, when beat Canterbury, after a most interesting game, by two goals to one. In the recent tournament held at Wellington, Canterbury defeated Wellington, Wairarapa, and Manawatu, and won the competition. By beating Canterbury to-day Wellington won the tournament, and the honors for the season rest between these two teams.
