ROUND TABLE CONFERENCE.AN AGREEMENT EXPECTED. By Wire.—Our Parliamentary, Reported Wellington, Last Night. The Government has decided tb'coM vene a round table conference of menu bers of Parliament to discuss the pen* sions and separation allowances to b1 granted to the dependents of members! of the Second Division. These and otheij cognate matters will be debated in a' free and informal manner, in order thafi the Government may ascertain the miu<s of the House before coming to a final ie* cision. The conference will, no doubt, reach an agreement with regard to the. rate* of pensions and allowances, and pre* smnably the Government will give effecfj to the views of the majority.
