SALE OF BUTTER TO GOVERNMENT.
•NEGOTIATIONS STILL INCOMPLETE. By Wire.—Our Parliamentary Reporter. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. Massey stated in the Hotwe to« day that the negotiations with the Imperial authorities for the sale of the Dominion's output of 'butter were still incomplete. He had sent a further communication on the subject to London a few days ago, wherein he had stated that the season had begun, that production was increasing, and that it was of the utmost importance that the New Zealand Government should he informed quickly of the intentions of the British Government. (Delay would have a serious effect upon business and production. He had not yet received any reply to that communication, and he could only assume. that delay had >een caused by the changes that were taking place in the administrative offices at Home.
